Michael Holloway – Part II

And so we wait. And wait we do with the most precious of resources given to us.

The pressure of time being somewhere else escalates the guilt in leaving this walnut of a drama. But what can I now do? I should do the good thing which would be the right thing. That is what I should do. I should wait. I should wait like this man has to wait. Did he fall to test my patience? To test my character? I would expect someone else to wait so why I am not going to wait? Time giving versus time taking.

Michael Holloway has lived longer than these children combined. Concerningly I do believe I too have nearly lived a life longer. They, who stand, no dance in the early spring of their timeline, and I, the middle man, the compass, once pebble now stone, I look to my left to witness these little beaks chirping for guidance, and then I look to my right to see the unknown man known as Michael Holloway, lay in silence like an unplayed piano but who requires our assistance, he lies like a jagged rock on the far right end of the shore of time. I am seeing both what I were once and what I will become, here in an alleyway in South Wales and all because the wind delayed my small yet selfish venture.

The quarter-to-three-feet girl assures me they will stay with the unknown man until the ambulance arrives when I ask. Her eyes are so convincing like this is a mission she must see through and her emblem tells me so.

All blazers without exception give the necessary assurance of dependability. All blazers without exception whose sleeves are too long though do not convince one of the necessary maturity and yet the intention is there, yes the intention is very much there I do believe. There is goodness up these comical sleeves. Onward christian soldiers and here lies the unknown man known as Michael Holloway wounded but how we do not know.
